Home Depot has recently seen an increase in online sales and is looking to match that success in stores. First quarter total sales grew nearly 3 percent, but online sales were up 39 percent. Web sales now account for 4.2 percent of the retailer's total sales. Home Dept does not expect this partnership to offer significant padding to their bottom line, at least not in the early going, but it’s certainly a move which tells shareholders that they are in fact looking towards the future.
